Internet users have responded to a popular video featuring Yoruba Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola discussing her recurring violent roles in films.
Wumi Toriola asserted during a live video session that her on-screen demeanor is different from who she is in real life and that she is simply playing the part as best she can.
The mother of one, who appeared to be having a problem, claimed that although she frequently landed romantic roles in films and did a great job in them, many people mistake her real personality for what they saw on screen.
Netizens, however, have rejected her explanation. Toyin Abraham and Seyi Edun were cited by one Barrister Dolapo as examples of how the actress likes to make live Instagram videos whenever she has disagreements with someone.
You are a bitter soul… the fact that you always come on live video anytime you have issues with someone shows you are too toxic… you did it to shai and Toyin. Any wise person in your industry won’t move close to you again.”
