Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has landed in the hospital days after his return from a tour in the United States.

NEWSEMBASSY had published reports several days ago about Portable’s tour in the United States.

The singer was seen in several videos performing at events in the United States and hanging out with notable personalities abroad.

However, he has since returned to Nigeria after the end of his tour abroad.

Since his return, he has been pictured at several gatherings, showing love to his supporters with gifts he brought from abroad and money he earned from shows.

Not long after this, the singer shared a post of himself on his Instagram story, asking his followers to please pray for him as he’s currently in the hospital.

Portable became famousWHO IS PORTABLE ?after contributing to the song “ZaZoo Zehh” featuring Nigerian rapper Olamide[6] and Nigerian dancer Poco Lee.[7] During his early stage of fame, he became well known for calling out his business partners on social media for scamming him on business deals such as artist management and also on his Instagram handle where he does most of his activities.[8]

Controversy

During the early stages of Portable, he had issues with Poco Lee when he was invited to a concert that saw the visitation of both Wizkid and Olamide. Wizkid sprayed porta some money, but surprising enough, Poco Lee split the money behind him and caused stirs.

Portable has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command following the expiration of a 72-hour ultimatum given to him to turn himself in for refusing to honor a police invitation over an alleged assault.
