Super Falcons of Nigeria star Uchenna Kanu is back on the social media trends.
The 26-year-old Nigerian striker is back in the United States of America (USA) following her exploits for the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Kanu was a key player for the Super Falcons as they progressed to the round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
She featured in all four games for the Super Falcons starting the game twice and also coming off the bench twice.

Uchenna Kanu welcomed with flowers at Racing Louisville
Kanu did not return to Nigeria with the Super Falcons as she opted to go back to her club, Racing Louisville.
On her return, Kanu was welcomed along with her other teammates that participated in the World Cup from Racing Louisville.
Kanu returned with Savannah DeMelo of the USA Women’s National Team, Ary Borges of Brazil, and Wang Shuang of China.
All four players were presented with flowers from Racing Louisville and cheered by the crowd.

Kanu was in action as Racing Louisville recorded a 1-1 draw against Angel City in front of a club-record 10,214 fans at Lynn Family Stadium early on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Katie Johnson put Angel City in front in the 67th minute to shock the home side.
Kanu then made her first appearance on the same day her Super Falcons teammate Michelle Alozie returned to action for the Houston Dash.
Kanu was introduced for Paiga Monaghan in the 71st minute to spark Racing Louisville.
Maddie Pokorny provided Kirsten Davis’s equalizer as Racing Louisville were unable to find a late winner.
Kanu will now aim to get a spot in the starting lineup when Racing Louisville returns to action against Ifeoma Onumonu’s Gotham FC on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
