Super Falcons’ footballer, Ashleigh Plumptre officially signs deal to join Al-Ittihad Ladies Club in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.
The former Leicester City defender, who had made 62 appearances during her stay in the club, exited after her contract with them expired.
Although, before announcing that she will be playing for Al-Ittihad Ladies Club, she had previously hinted her intentions to play abroad.
Additionally, with the presence of famous footballers like Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté on the men’s team, her decision is crucial for the women’s side of the club.

Plumptre had attracted the spotlight after she played outstandingly at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Her powerful long-range shot had almost sent England home.
Via her Twitter page, she announced …
